Graphs for October 2017

A very interesting month with two big storms. Ophelia on the 16th and Brian on the 21st. Fortunatly neither caused us any damage but we had a 14hr power cut on the night of the 16th.

The pressure rise on the 17th after Ophelia passed through was so quick that my weatherstation decided that it was an error and ditched the readings until they slowed down.

The maximum recorded temp was 22.4 degrees at 9:10am on the 16th.between 6:20 and 9:10 the temp spiked wildly. As you can see below it rose by almost 4 degrees in 10 minutes at 8am.The minimum was 2.6 degrees on the 30th.

The maximum recorded sustained wind speed was 28mph. There was a gust of 55mph on the 16th at 9pm. Well below the 90mph some parts of the country suffered.

Total rainfall of 5.53" this month. We only had 7 days without rain. Notice there was hardly any rain as Ophelia passes through, in contrast to the inch we got from Brian.
